2010 Trek FX 7.6: Tire Clearance for 35mm?
Hello, I'm looking at possibly purchasing a 2010 Trek 7.6 (specifically, a WSD model) for my better half and am hoping that this frame can fit 35mm tires. It's kinda inbetween a flat-bar road bike and a hybrid and came with 28mm tires, so I worry that it won't be able to fit something like 35mm.
Of course, simply going and checking the bike out would work, but if someone here could help me out I would greatly appreciate it not having to make an hour round trip drive! Thank you.
To help identify the bike I'm talking about...A regular 2010 7.6:

And this is the WSD 7.6.

When I jumped from 30s to 35s I was pleasantly surprised with the improved ride. I can't imagine the difference she will experience going from 28s to 35s. Let us know how it goes.

35 mm probably will be the max
mrs t2p 7.5 fx wears 35 mm tires - Panaracer GK SS 35 mm that actually measure around 37 mm installed
it’s a tight squeeze fitting the front tire past the brake pads when removing / installing the front tire … especially if / when the brake pads are toed
