Pan American Master 2018
The Pan American Master (Track and Road) is going to be held in Mexico City (5-11 November)
Is anyone here coming?
The deadline to register is October 29th, so contact your federation to get on the list!
I raced the nationals there back in June and I must say, the velodrome track is fast!
The road events will be held in the F1 track next to the velodrome.
Events:

We in Brazil are trying to know the race schedule to decide about flight tickets, hotel etc. since track races are only 3 days out of this full 8 days week 5-11 November, and I don't want to stay or arrive 4 days out of my races time window.
With the information we have until now, it's impossible to plan the trip. There are several racers here trying to know more to decide to go.
Can you help us with those basic information?

From what I know the official schedule is frozen in the Technical Meeting on November 4th, but they should have a draft WAY before that.
I will dig around and post here as soon as I get hold of the draft schedule. I am not involved in the planning, I'm just another sprinter in the bunch
Other points i know so far, mostly translating from the second link:
To participate you should also process a UCI licence with your federation.
Technical Meeting: November 4th 17:00 (In one of the Host Hotels) Each federation must send the name of the delegate that will represent all cyclist.
Signup Fee: per participant 100usd to be wired before the Technical Meeting to the Mexican Cycling Federation
Signup deadline: October 29th (done through email fmc.mexico@hotmail.com )
Hotels:
Reserve on your own or contact the federation, there will be packages that include hotel+food
HOTEL GRAND PRIX
HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS MEXICO AEROPUERTO
Participants must contact the Mexican Cycling Federation by email ( fmc.mexico@hotmail.com ) and send:
-List of the delegation
-Hotel Selected
-Date of arrival and departure
-Airline
-Time of arrival
-Number of bikes and luggage
To confirm your assistance by other means please contact fmc.mexico@hotmail.com and panaci@enet.cu to precise the transport to your hotel.
Fun facts: racing at 2240 meters above sea level

If you think that there is a chance that you will get drug tested be aware of the Clenbuterol problem in Mexico livestock.
https://www.usada.org/clenbuterol-an...contamination/
When we did our record attempts in Aguascalientes last year I brought packaged chicken to add meat to my meals just to be on the safe side. Nobody wants to be "that guy" who gets popped for something and claims (even correctly) that it was contaminated food...
Good luck.

Raced 2017 Pan San Juan Argentina and Worlds LA - both schedules announced far ahead of the event.
We're only 45 days out of the Pan and they didn't have a schedule to show? Emailed Mexican Federation - no answer, unfortunately.
Several Brazilians racers wanted to know the schedule.
