Sorry.
Could always do it in JavaScript and deploy it with one of those wrapper packaging apps that deploy it to ios/android/windows like PhoneGap or similar.

I constantly tell clients that that is the worst way to roll out apps across platforms and that native is the best way to go. It would be hypocritical for me to turn around and do so with my personal apps.

Thanks Carleton - I will take a look.

By the way - does your app include the ability to set your distance from the black line like the OP's tables? Thanks

No. They don't. Mine assumes a perfect line...and has to. Because riding 1" above the line at a round 333m track has a different effect than dong so on a cigar-shaped 333m track with much longer straights having much less of a distance penalty.

If you have a specific track in mind, you can get a hold of Tom Compton at Analytic Cycling and ask him. He's got data on a number of tracks and likes to figure these things out.

"How I should ride my flying 200?" at https://analyticcycling.com/ . I'm the junior in the example (well, 20 years ago I was, lol, oh the internet is old).

That site is awesome. I've spent countless hours there.

Great!

Of course it is all an approximation but helpful nonetheless.
Forgot to mention: If you download the file you will be able to modify the values in the yellow cells, such as tire and rim size, units, velodrome type, and the distance from the black line.

I ended up simplifying the table (a lot) and here is the final version that I carry in my track bag

You Monster!

But if you really want to see your 60 against any value on the table just divide it by the number of your cog to see how it compares.

Pffft. You'd be amazed. 2 years ago I had requests to push my app from 55t up to 60. I replied, "Show me a track bike with a 60t chainring and I'll do it." 5 minutes later, I got my email with a 60t on a BT.

Last year, I had an up and coming young rider on the British team ask for 65t...I went ahead and bumped it up to 100t to keep from having to field the requests

Now the apps will do 100t/5t to make 540 gear-inches or 42 gear-meters

Here it is guys!
The monster edition of the table. I refuse to go over a 16 cog, because I think it is just added weight lol

I really like this format to find equivalents, just browse horizontally left or right.
It is also very useful when you want to find a gear JUST above or below what you rode.

Still not that useful unless we start including gain ratios so we can make a true apple-to-apples comparison. I realize that there are still many finesse leg speed riders out there on 170+, but it would be nice to see a chart for modern high torque leg strength riders.
