Any Opinions on a Trek 1000c?
I posted on here about the Schwinn Sierra and got a lot of useful input.
I've really enjoyed riding for errands (saves gas, consumes calories, fresh air, etc) and was wondering if I might like a lower end road bike even more.

This is for sale locally. I might even be able to get it for a little less. Any thoughts? Or should I just stick with the Schwinn Sierra until I decide to spend REAL money on a roadbike.
Again this would mostly be for run errands, riding solo. No epic trips yet.

It's a decent enough bike for your intended purpose. I wouldn't expect a further discount, though. In my neck of the woods, any bike equipped with working brifters is worth around $300 unless there are other issues. The 1000C retailed for $600-700 new BITD if memory serves.

Ok...also I'm 5'10 with a 32 inch inseam (31 inch pants length), is this bike too big for me. I know that's hard to answer sight unseen but should I even bother looking at it?

Treks are traditionally well made bikes. That's a pretty reasonable price for a good quality ride. Just make sure the wheels & tires are in fine shape.

If everything works, good price. Not necessarily my idea of an errand bike though. Upright road bikes will serve better for the long run. Easier to see oncoming traffic, peripheral vision better, IMHO. But having said that, the bike you listed is decent and priced fairly.
