A lot of people share the membership with other family members. I don't have a Costco card, because Mrs. LAJ shares it with her brother. That's more than fine, because the last time I was in one, it was horrible. Carts as big as a strip mine dump truck, being pushed by equally big engines, all blocking the aisle to get their free taste of whatever they were shilling.

Because there's a lot of stuff that doesn't make sense.
Like why does NATO have its own alphabet? Can't the warships just call each other on the radio if one of them hits ground?

Good for you guys. We had 50s the last couple days and I got one ride in but I couldn’t do it yesterday despite being calm, albeit damp. Still fighting a head cold and I’m in that every other day suffering mode which seems to come near the end (I hope).
Have a most excellent ride.

I got stuck doing a walk last evening. Darkness fell before I concluded, but along the sidewalk I passed a guy on a trike who had a dog in the rear plastic tub. It must have been a short ride, as there were no provisions for the dog. 2manybikes
Some guy passed me shaking a drinking bottle and muttering something about people saying oxygen wouldn't explode. I'm glad that encounter only lasted three seconds.

Shoot, Merlin cycles have mega-sidi genius 7s on sale. Had I not “just” had carbon handlebars (also sale) shipped from chain reaction, I’d instantly pulled the trigger on the Sidis. Well if I return the Les Paul kit I just bought

I just read the weather maps.
Morse A, or “alpha” in the NATO phonetic alphabet, is the flash pattern emitted by the “sea buoy” marking the deep water at the seaward end of a harbor or river entrance channel and is abbreviated “MoA” on a navigational chart. Sea buoys are sometimes referred to colloquially as “mo alphas.”

BillyD is just a nickname friends from the 70s gave me.

Note to self: quote links to previous pages is now officially dead, for me at least. (Other’s mileage may vary).
