Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Also, FWIW, having a chain that's stripped and dry is 90% of the hassle of the waxing process behind you. If you had a crock pot and wax mix on hand, it would probably take literally 5 minutes of hands-on time to complete.
Chain-L likes a clean chain to start with.

Make sure its dry, overlube it , let it stand for a while so the carrier can evaporate if it uses one. Wipe it till it's just about dry.

Yes, only one model. I've been looking at Hubba tents. And REI doesn't carry them.

Warmer here. There are crocuses everywhere and the cherries, magnolias, Bradford pears, etc. are blooming!

Also heard from an authority that nasal steroid sprays shouldn't increase the risk of getting COVID-19. I'm going to need one soon.

You'll be fine. The new lube will migrate into the bushings.

Okay, so I found it mildly amusing when, on a walk to the grocery store, a lady dodged around a boulevard tree to avoid passing me at ~4.5 feet. Even more amusing, at least as a minority, was seeing white people crossing the street to avoid other white people.

Hah. I would too. They're all armed.

Passed a rider today. She said hi. I said "don't breathe."

It handles well, but it's more predictable and less lively than the R3SL. I like a little twitchy.
