Last Friday I picked up my new set of pedals, Wellgo B-184, for my Trek 7.4FX.
My LBS actually brought in 5 or 6 different pedals for me to try (he doesn't stock any of them), and the 184's are what I much preferred. They're very light at 350g. per pair, and have super grip with regular trail running shoes, and can't- move- your -feet type grip with Five Tens - wow!.
I'm quite pleased to say the least.
Best regards

It was the El Super a bright shiny new grocery store, newest of a big chain, that just opened here in Long Beach. (Long Beach sez in stainless-steel letters a foot high on City Hall: 'America's Most Bike Friendly City' - Hmmph.) I was inside the store for like 10 minutes, came out, bike gone. The security guard says he saw nothing, he was inside, maybe there were some kids running, he isn't sure... blahblhblah. The cops?- a total waste of time. Insurance?- a 1G deductible on unscheduled personal property- ditto.

I changed my DS 3 form 8 to 9 speed-- added Deore ders, front and rear, Deore shifters, new chain and 11-34t cassette. I took it on a 8 mile test run and it shifts very well. I know others will disagree, but this is the DS I would like to see Trek offer.

Gee, this ought to be a sticky......
I spent some money on one of my Hybrids today --- new fenders, and a new(small) tail trunk. PB Cascadia fenders, and a Performance Transit Metro trunk. About half the size of most of them on the market. Just right

I created a new cadence sensor shim, the previous version didn't work that well (like I expected, but it degraded faster than I thought)... the foam slowly collapsed, the readings first got intermittent, then I lost the signal.
So I used a carbon fiber...
...sticker sheet to wrap my new shim, still made from a leftover plexiglass sheet, heated and shaped as a flattened "C".
Also, rear rack.
It's a cheap no brand name "made in Asia" seatpost mount rack, rated for about 20 pounds. Should be more than enough for now, since I usually don't need to carry more than my U-lock and a lunchbox. Attached my new rear light to the rack, so it can still be visible.

The light is attached around the rack "frame" (along which the platform can slide) using the original seatpost mounting system. It isn't ideal though, since the rack rail is more of a triangle shape, and about as small as the light mount can go. But it isn't loose. I can get a more detailed photo tomorrow if you want.

My fenders are in, for my Sirrus! So now I can ride it in the wet........... I'm glad I got the road Cascadia's, as they almost disappear.
I'll go out in the garage, and hang the Crosstrail back up!
A $15 trip to the hardware store for more SS fasteners, and a couple hours in the morning, and I'll be good to go!

I'll try to get a pic up when I install them. The Planet Bike Road Cascadias are only 35mm wide, so I will install them a tad high, in case I want to go wider on my tires.. My older Sirrus came with 28s.

Took my son out for another trail ride this past weekend. He loved it! We encountered our first horse rider. We gave them the right away so not to spook the horse. After this weekend, I'm so looking forward to some new pedals, which I haven't put on yet and new grips coming in today.

Love them. I was having cramps in my feet when riding with athletic shoes on platform pedals for 5 miles or more. Casual looking Shimano bike shoes and these pedals did the trick and I can still use the flat side of the pedal when I want to make a quick trip down the street.
