I am a huge fan of Thule.

The T2 Classic is heavy, but sturdy. When my car was rear-ended in a recent collision, the T2 saved my C60 from suffering greater damage.

When I wrote to Thule to let them know how impressed I was with the T2, they offered me a 40% discount on a new Thule rack.

I used the discount to buy the new Thule T2 Pro and I am really happy with it.

I've been using the Advantage SportsRack FlatRack 2 Bike Stand Up Carrier. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Advantage...iABEgKgRPD_BwE
Not sure where I got it but it was about $150. It's light unlike most of the stand up racks so easy off and on the car and to store. Holds two full size bikes quite well on the highway.

Another big thumbs up for the Kuat Transfer 2. 2+ years and it still works like a champ.

I've got the Transfer 3. Love it so far. I went with buying the full size 2.0" hitch for the CRV. Solid. I put a huge beefy cable and lock through the hitch and rack.

I was going to chime in earlier but saw that 1up was well represented. They fold up almost unobtrusively to the bumper and they also fold up pretty small for storage too. Buy 1, 2 .3 or 4 spaces as you need. Adjust as needed.

I guess I'm a cult member as well. I have the 1 up and can't think of anything that would be better., particularly in the 1.25 receiver range.

I have used a friends Kuat Sherpa 2.0 quite a few times. Seems to be holding up well for the amount of use it gets, he rides many times a week. I just bought one on Sunday, waiting for it to be delivered today or tomorrow.

I know people love to save a buck here and there but strapping an expensive road bike to cheap rack doesn't feel right to me. I'm too worried it will break or just fall off while driving. So the Sherpa is a nice compromise, not their most expensive rack but still well made and securely holds the bikes.

Jensen has a 20% off any full price item deal going right now. Promo code is: SAVE20 These promos never seem to work on anything good but I noticed the code worked on Kuat bike racks. A pretty good deal with free shipping and 20% off.

I have one too, but I have come to realize it has one big drawback for me: Bikes with full coverage rear fenders.

I can get it to work, but it is a pain switching back between bikes with and without full coverage fenders. The solution they provide (a pad for the fender) is woefully pathetic, IMO.
