Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Just bought a Vitus Alios Pro...

Hey there,
I just bought this bike off Ebay: https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...#ht_500wt_1182

and I am unable to find any information on the internet about it. Anyone know anything about these bikes? Seems to have ok components and I got it for a good price. Any info would be really helpful. Thanks!

Vitus has been around a long time. Their early frames were flexy but many people loved them. This one looks pretty stiff. Centaur is a very solid performing group (and it's Campy ). I'm assuming you're the winning offer. You got a nice bike. Enjoy.

Seems like you got it for a good price, congratulations. These kind of threads are kinda funny though, one would think you would find out about the bike before you buy it.

Yeah - how does he know it's a good deal if he doesn't know what he's buying?

And what's with the guy who said "that looks like a stiff frame." From a picture? Really?
