Forewent a ride today in favor of stimulating the local economy by getting a burger (take-out, of course) from one of the most popular local restaurants. 1 o'clock on a Saturday usually means about a 30 minute wait, even for bar seating in normal times. Today, one car pulled out of the lot as I pulled in, and there were only 4 tickets waiting after mine on the table outside. They got a 100% tip from me today even though I know that's not really going to help anything. Long walk and some jump-rope this evening, longer ride tomorrow.
The news last night was reporting that places like Commander's Palace are partnering with Rouses supermarket, packaging up their most famous dishes and selling them there. So that's something, at least- improvising and adapting.

Nice little 23 mile ride. A touch colder than I like but whatever.
Hang in there Datlas. Been there a few times I know how you feel.

The new hipster white wheel set comes with a fixed gear installed but nothing on the freewheel side. I am not hip or foolish enough to hi fixed so I want to transfer the SS freewheel from the shot wheel to the new one. The lock ring does not take a typical freewheel tool. Any suggestions??
I've used various tools like a flat blade screwdriver and a hammer to remove one, but it wasn't pretty.
I could let you borrow mine if you don't want to buy one.

I think you need this tool.

I wonder why patentcad has not dropped by. If he is sheltering in place, you would think the boredom factor would have kicked in.

We’ll be fine and I’m not even sure I how I feel about my wife going back to work, given the risks. It’s just all the years of sweat equity and good will the old partners have built up in the practice and the implicit promise they made the young ones, all of whom had to buy in. It would be a shame to see that end with a whimper.

It's hard. Me and my Kenmore 385 series spent a lot of time today understanding each other.
