Drop bar Kona Unit SS

Converted my Kona Unit SS to drop bar. Tektro levers and Avid BB7 mechanical disc brakes. 27.5x2.8 WTB Ranger tires.

That is awesome. I had a 2015 Unit that ultimately I let go because I bought a size too big. Started my appreciation of ss'ing. Loved that bike - must be killer drop bar.

Lookin’ good. More hand positions with a curved bar. (beer).

Upgrades and improvements is a good positive for the forum.

I like that.

Any idea how much the bb dropped with the 650b? Wondering if those wide Scrapers would flatten out the tire profile.

I'm not sure of the BB height. I can tell you that it is an all out fun machine. The Avid BB7 mechanical disc brakes feel better to me than the tektro hydraulics that I replaced. I have a set of WTB 29er rims that I will eventually try out but for now drop bar plus SS is working.
