AbsoluteBLACK chain lube

I saw this on an ad on FB. They're claiming 1800km with 1 application.
Anyone try it yet?

Perused some of their blurb, and I don't know about you, but my ratio of crumpled to non crumpled clothing items in my closet is 1.09

This whole thing reminds me of some graphite based ski wax I tried for a while. Worked ok in some conditions but terrible in others, and I got black stuff on my gloves....

sounds too good to be true frankly

Wait a minute.... a 4.7 oz bottle is $145.50 USD!
Better get the sample size .47 oz for $14.95.

If the sample size is good for one application and lasts 1000 km, it's a reasonable deal.

I cannot afford those kind of prices, but would be interesting to see how good it really is.
Maybe I'll send them a CV and they'll offer me a free sample

As I've stated more than once in more than one thread about this, the price point is so high that no amount of real-world mileage between applications could make the Absolute Black cost-effective.

It's a product that a person uses so they can brag about using it. How well it actually works is almost inconsequential.

Hmmm let’s see...

.... $145 lube, or a new $30 chain.

What to do? What to do?
