Question Sigma BC 1606L bike computer -- Timer UP/DOWN and Trip UP/DOWN setup

Does anyone know what Timer UP/DOWN and Trip UP/DOWN are used for??

They can be set to count down from a preset time or mileage, like 10 miles to go...9 miles to go...eight miles to go...etc. They also can be set to count up like a normal odometer or stopwatch. What you'd use them for, that's up to you.

Just starting to use the 2209 MHR I've had for years in its box and wasn't sure what this function was about. Thanks!!

I like the Sigmas. Make sure you stay on top of the mounting. I lost my Sigma because it popped out of the h'bar mount without my noticing.
