Polished 1x chainring - Anybody make one?
Thinking it'd be cool to convert my DuraAce 7800 crankset (to me its the epitome of looks, weight and function) to a 1x setup. Does anyone make a 1x ring in 130 BCD that is polished and would match? Thanks!

I dont. But removing anodizing is a pretty easy process. And some steel wool and polishing compound would polish it up in 20 minutes.

Velo-orange sells polished cranksets, some with drillium. They have a single chainring crankset that isn't too expensive.

Do you need 1x features? Drop Stop?
I'd look at "vintage" 5/6/7 speed rings. They often have very plain teeth, and are frequently cheap.

It'd be a Sram Rival 10 speed 1x setup. Could use a clutch MTB derailleur, but will probably be a standard road derailleur. A narrow wide/drop stop chainring would probably be helpful, but vintage non-ramped rings would probably work for road riding.
