Looking for frame suggestions from knowledgeable members
As the title suggests, I'm in the market for a new frame for my FG road bike. The aluminum dropouts on my existing frame (Cannondale Optimo Capo) are starting to get cashed out. I don't know much compared to a lot of you guys about what's for sale or the bike market in general, esp for SS/FG.
What I want:
*Steel
*Water bottle bosses (2)
*Bosses for brakes (2)
*Road gemotery
*1.125" headtube and threadless fork. Frame-only suggests also welcome but a frameset would be preferable for convenience.
*Preferably <or= to $500, although this is a little flexible
Fender and rack mounts, eyelets ect not necessary. This thing will be for road riding only (no commuting) and I live in San Diego. All the bullet points above are somewhat flexible, but an ideal candidate would fulfill all of my asterisk points above.
Also if anyone is knowledgeable about dropout longevity, robustness ect. please chime in. While I prefer steel on this bike for other reasons, I assume that steel dropouts will also last me a lot longer than the soft aluminum ones did on my c'dale.
Picks of bike for reference. Frame is definetely in its last 6mo of use because of the dropouts:

I came in to troll, but realized that the thread started was TMonk
The Dawes SST-AL isn't too bad IMO, except it's not steel.

steamy has no brazeons, just 1 bottle mount
crosscheck is loaded though, $440
on one pompino is great $170 (no frok) which fulfills all your needs and @yummygooey can attest to it
cantis tho? not sure if its got holes for calipers

cantis suck IME... mini-v's (i run TRP CX8.4's) are great but lack clearance. that shouldn't be an issue if you're not looking for fenders options (pompino does have rack and fender mounts in the rear tho). my mini-v's stop better than any other rim brake i've ever tried.
the pompino with an EC90X or EC70X is a pretty solid frame/fork combo and should fall somewhere in the range of what's already been suggested... the only reason i got rid of mine was cuz seattle is hecka hilly.

I was going to talk about the bad weather capabilities of Cantis that we in the midwest have to worry about. But you're in San Diego. So yeah, go with Mini Vs.

im gonna be running calipers on this bike (or should I say caliper).
the ulegra 6500 front brake on there works just fine.
edit: did i make a mistake when I said that I want brake bosses? perhaps I should have said drilled for brakes instead. most of u guys know more about bikes than me i just ride alot

Hmm I thought cdale out of all bike makers would know better than to put naked aluminium track ends on a modern bike considering the OG track 3.0 had steel ends.... tsk tsk tsk
Can we get a better picture of the track ends as they are at the moment?
I vote kona paddywagon.
