How many have traditional style front springer fork?

Have to all that are using a traditional style front sprinter fork on their bc. Have any of y’all thought of any alternative to the spring? I have a suspension seat post that uses different hardness rubber bushings. I was hopeing to someone here willing to try and see what they could about finding a bushing or chunk of rubber that could be worked to size and then try and see if it’s better than the spring. Good luck anyone willing to try.

i've played with the spring that's on there, but never actually got rid of it. i've changed the fork angle a bit by adding a rubber stopper to the end of the spring, so the spring is kind of an inch longer (need to buy a new bolt an inch longer also. both brought at a hardware store). i've also found a smaller spring i was able to wind into the original sping to help stiffen it up.

Cool how you gave the fork more casters I think the correct term is with the washers I’ll try that maybe.

I have a Schwinn Swindler with a springer fork. It was the main reason I bought the bike. It works and looks
really good along with Thick Slick tires.

Monark Springer on Electra

Purely for the sake of comfort had a custom fork made up for the old Electra C1 by Anthony Hobbs. Might weigh 12lbs. more but...don't skip leg day!
