I had a bicycle store in the university district of Buffalo, NY in the early 1970's. I built a bike for myself and have kept it all these years. At that time, during the "10 speed" craze good frames and campi parts were impossible to find.i use to go to Europe, walk into bike shops and buy whatever they would sell me. One trip got a beautiful bright red with yellow trim Jackson which I built out all Campi, side pull brakes etc., been sitting in my garage for 50 years. Big frame 25". So my question is, any ideas as to value? Thanks

We have to have pic's, lots of em. Good and clear, close ups, full on drive and non drive side, lugs, details of all components, etc, etc.

If it's in decent shape it definitely has some value, but we will need to see pictures because condition is very important.

...this one's been on the local Craiglist here for almost a year, still unsold at $1150. I think it started higher.
It's too small for me, and yours is too big, but I think down in San Francisco it would go pretty easily this time of year for about $1000. Not sure I'd sell mine for that, but I think that's about all it would bring in the current market environment on CL local.
E-bay is a whole different deal, and I know nothing about it.

@3alarmer I think this same bike has been listed on Ebay for several months, also at $1150 OBO.

$1150 for a bike that needs an overhaul, hoods, tires very likely cables, chain and brake blocks? no wonder its been for sale for a year.

...NFS, but still pretty after all these years.
You hear a lot about ineffable qualities like "ride". Both of the Bob Jackson bikes I've had here have had a nice "ride". I couldn't tell you why, but distinctly different from the Italian bikes that are its contemporaries.

Everything from $99. Falcons & $109 Bianchis to Eisentrauts, Masi, Colnago no Raleigh or Schwinn stuff. We had a rather casual approach to the business side. We worked with a guy in Cocoa Beach Florida who always came up with the most exotic and sought after frames, campi stuff, seats, stems etc. looking back on it we liked to deal with concept stuff.
