Don't know where to buy new motor. However, did you check your 4 or 5 magnets around the center spoke to make sure those little things didn't dislocate during an exceptionally bumpy ride? When one or all the magnets get displaced from their original place (tiny insets around the spoke) the motor doesn't work well at all. If you lost a few magnets, replace the magnets and see what happens.
