Ok Easthill where is it?

I've been out of town for a few days and I figured when I got back today there would be a complete and I mean with pictures first ride report on a certain beautiful cherry Paramount. But whats this? I look all over the place and unless I'm really blind I'm not seeing it. Margaret you're killing me whats the deal?

I think she's busy riding, but it's supposed to be 100 degrees out there today.
Perhaps she'll take a break and some photos for us.

All right everyone, I will be doing the first proper ride on the Paramount tomorrow.

It has been miserably hot (well, relatively speaking, because after all, this is Puget Sound. However, it's about 95* at the moment, and I get migraines in that kind of heat.

So, I plan on being out there relatively early tomorrow so that I will not wilt like a lettuce.

Photos will be included .

EH its not supposed to be as hot tomorrow so have a swell ride. I tore my back up again yesterday pulling weeds in the corn patch of all places and now every step I take its like a hot knife just below the shoulder blades. I've spent yesterday evening and today doing stretches and the heating pad. Fortunately I have the finished room in the basement so I can go down there and use the pad. I missed a hike with Mrs. Stringbreaker and little strinbreaker and her boyfriend today. I can barely walk much hike at Mt. Rainier.

Well, take it easy, and don't damage yourself more. There's still a few more organised rides later this year, and we will need to have you be part of the BikeForums contingent!

I can barely walk a block much less get on a bike. I'm going to drive probably all week and see how that does. I have PT on Wednesday.

The PT told me the heating pad should be my best friend right now but only 20 minutes at a time. I'm doing the stretches and other stuff she showed me so between all that and the muscle relaxants I should see some improvement by tomorrow.

So, Easthill, how deep are your pockets? There's a lovely chrome 48 inch Paramount on ebay right now
There are four days to go and the price is already at $850.
Just teasing, but, go take a look, the photos are gorgeous.

Ooooooh, shiny!

But I am pleased with my current Paramount, and I need to work a few more months before I get another new Paramount .

I am hoping I am able to get out today--there has been a massive thunder storm here, and it is currently raining.

Much to my intense disappointment, today was still hot and miserable. However, I did take the Paramount on a successful first outing at the local trail, Big Soos Creek.

It was so hot that the batteries in my camera died out there ! The only photo we managed was the one that Mr. East Hill took of me just getting ready to set off.

Still, the picture shows that the Paramount is a perfect fit. Congratulations, again As for the weather, we in usually sticky St. Louis are having a very unusual high of only 80 degrees. It's wonderful! I went riding both days.

EH: How did the saddle work for ya? Geesh it was so humid and miserable here too, I stayed in the Basement most of the afternoon noodling around on the Martin (that's an acoustic guitar for those that don't know)

Beautiful bike East Hill.

Even if it's just down to the 7-11 for a slurpee, get it out there for a ride.

I'm hoping to get out for a longer ride tomorrow--perhaps all the way to the local ice cream parlour . It's supposed to be cooling off a tad .

East Hill,

Well that is just one wonderful looking beautiful little Paramount! And hey, you look great alongside it!

Since this post has a sidebar dealing with weather, let me just report that some of our NH & VT maple trees are turning their bright red already. Dang! This could mean we might have our first snowfall by early October.

I am really sorry the weather hasn't been cooperating. We had a very cool weekend. It only got up to 92. It was great riding weather if you have fenders to ride through the scattered showers.

That is a very nice bike EH, as far as weather goes, you're getting what we normally get here in IN, but the last ten days have been highs in the low 80s with very low humidity. That is VERY unseasonable for here, but we'll take it

Take care and drink lots of water
