Neat video. How many miles is that within the city?
The tent at 1min was a surprise.

Taking my dog Molly for a run. This was some serious uphill work.

It is technically inside the city. 5k from my house it takes about 10-15 minutes for me to get onto the trails. Definitely some homeless camps inside the forest. Its 3.8 square miles in size so there is plenty of room play around. Once a week I try to squeeze an hour ride in before taking my daughter to school during the week and it's great for that, any longer than an hour and a half here and you'll feel like you're turning in circles.

I missed that before. Cool video
We have something similar a couple of blocks from our house, but it's a mtb area and all on the side of a mountain - no flats

Didn't do much stopping but here's the aftermath of the first section of mud single track from Farmers Daughter. techy deep mud on file treads was a game of concentration, power and knowing when to hop off lol then we did 6500' of climbing

Very nice. I love it!!

That link didn't work to your other lights discussion.

My bike is black, so I used some 3M tape for night time riding. That black tape barely glows compared to regular 3M tape. The black is about as bright as a license plate reflection, while the other color 3M tapes are as bright as a good road sign (or the white-red stripes on the sides of a semi). The black tape was a little disappointing to me.

Here is the back of my bike as seen from the side (the blue tape is not 3M - the 3M stuff is bright enough to wash out in these photos. I've played with all kinds of colored designs on my wheels.

Don't buy any. I have a ton of it sitting in my closet and will send you enough to do a few wheelsets. No charge. Just PM me your address and I'll get an envelope in the mail. I'm just down the road in Marietta, Georgia so its no bother at all.

From today, South Fork CO

Exploring a fire road loop that became too rocky and technical. Was great gravel riding for about 10 miles up though.

Yesterday, I went on a ride along the Connecticut Airline Trail. I covered just over 88 miles. My goal was to do a full century but by the time I got close to my car my legs couldn’t handle anymore . This is the longest ride I’ve ever done, and I did it solo.

I had a great time, even when I accidentally went beyond the end of the trail and onto a part of the trail that is currently under development, and went down in a water/mud pit!

And TimothyH will be happy to know I did purchase a helmet!

Took this last Thursday at the base of the local downhill mtb area near my house. The trails are to the left.
For exercise I trail run or bike up an down the tracks. I'm not a technical DH rider so it's one part grinding, one part survival each time.

This is Blue Car Body Rd. Totally not kidding about the name.

GO Pro outtake. View across Hansen Dam, LA County from a couple of days ago. We have had some very strange weather lately, makes for great pics.

Work got canceled. Had a bonus day off . Took the Cross Check out riding. Had a good ride, even with losing the front end in a downhill, loose switchback!

There are about 20 miles of gravel in the county just to the west of me. Gravel sectors need to be connected with paved sectors, but that isn't really a bother when the paved sectors look like the photo below, which was also from my ride today.
