$2200 Cinelli Mash Work Build. sz. 52
Selling a size 52 Cinelli Mash Work Build and I am looking for $2200. This is my first post so bear with me.
FRAME: Cinelli Mash Work sz. 52
HEADSET: Chris King
CRANK/BB: Dura Ace 7710
CHAINRING: Sugino Zen 47T
CHAIN: IZUMI Super Toughness
COG: EAI Gold Medal 17T
STEM/POST: THOMPSON
SADDLE: BROOKS C17
WHEELS: HED Belgium Black
HUBS: Phil Wood High Flange
This frame is the original Cinelli Mash Work Frame which is Raw and unpainted. It has a clear coat to protect the raw steel. Later versions of this frame were painted. It has a very understated but unique look. The wheels are hand built by Wheelbuilder.com and feature HED Belgium Black 25mm wide rims laced to Phil Wood Hubs. Dura Ace Crank and Bottom Bracket with A Sugino Zen 47T Chainring. It also has a EAI Gold Medal 17T cog.
Other features include a Brooks C17 Saddle, 3T Erganoca bars, and King Titanium bottle cages which like most things on this bike are pricey, but built to last. The geometry of the frame was designed to be able to carry loads via a front rack, hence the "Work" name. It is also aggressive enough to race. You can even throw cross brakes on it and turn it into a single speed cross bike. It has clearance for some pretty fat tires. Very versatile.
The bike has less than 300 miles on it and is basically brand new. I built it to be my all everything bike with the intention of it being the only bike I would ever need. Unrelated back and knee injuries has me thinking I may never really be able to ride this thing for the foreseeable future. Testing the waters here.
The wheels alone cost over $1200 to build and are the definition of bulletproof.
Local meetup in NYC. Sorry, no shipping.
