Which bike is better?

2012 felt f75 or a goplus bike from amazon?
Both cost about $250. The goplus amazon bike has Shimano parts.

Is this even a question?

The Felt F75 is far better in every aspect.

Shimano parts have five or more different levels. The bottom levels are pretty bad. The rest of the parts will also be minimal. I've seen brakes on Walmart bikes that are stamped metal sheet, not solid metal pieces. Definitely the Felt.

Depends what condition the felt is in, and if it fits you.

No way to give good advice based on the info provided.

If the Felt fits and is in good condition, it's not even a contest. 105 derailleur vs. Tourney, just for starters. Looking at the Amazon bike on the web, right off the shifter arrangement would put me off. Basically there appears to be thumb shifters right at the top of the stem. I've never seen that before, and I can't imagine a hand position that would make sense using that, even with the second set of brake levers.

As to fit, the Amazon bike comes in just one size, and you won't be able to try it out until it's been assembled. If you don't like the Felt, my advice would be to keep looking. That Amazon bike looks awful, and I would be extremely skeptical of Amazon's claims about it. I normally don't care much about weight, but anyone who would describe a 32 pound aluminum bike as "lightweight" is not to be trusted.

Wow, I've never even heard of a "goplus". What a name.
