Free frame jigs
Hi everyone,
I have 10 frame tacking jigs laying around from a batch of jigs that had some holes drilled in the wrong place. If you have a drill press it's easy to drill them in the right spot. If anybody wants one or more let me know and you can come by my house in Sausalito CA to pick them up. Otherwise I am going to drop them off at the metal recycling place.
The person who took the picture didn't actually set the jig up fully, but you get the idea. These work great for building simple lugged frames. The box of 8020 extrusion, toggle clamps, and nuts and bolts went missing, but that stuff is easy to order online.
PM me if you want a jig or jigs! Again you would have to come pick them up in Sausalito, I am way too busy to ship anything unfortunately.
-Tim

Wow, that is really nice of you to put this out there. Wish I lived in your area as I have a friend at the shop that is talking of building frames for a living (yes, his wife works a good paying job!). One of these would serve him well to get started. Sure hope they get out there in good time.

I forgot to note that these jigs ONLY work for building lugged frames with a 68mm BB shell. They really don't work for building anything else.
Turns out I had about 20 more of these in storage and they have been getting claimed very quickly. There are about 10 left of the 30 I had originally.

Damn I've been thinking about getting into frame building. Wish you were closer to Chicago.
