2015 Raleigh Furley-framed Roper

Looking at this item, is $495 a good price for it? I have not had a bike for a long time and looking to get back into it.

"2015 Raleigh Furley-framed Roper - $495"

Purchased last year new for $975. Barely used. Custom bike with added rack one of a kind Toper built from furley frame. Disc brakes. Hybrid. 60cm frame.

How tall are you? That is a huge frame size, the price may not matter

Yes, size is most important.

$975 was the original price for the Roper, a nine speed bike. The Furley was a single speed and sold for less. Both were offered by Raleigh for hundreds less a little while back. So unless the bike is near mint, price seems high.

Also, "Roper built from a Furley frame" ...both frames were the same so this could be easily done. But was the conversion done correctly/professionally? I could tell by looking at it... but not everyone could.

The huge fame would work well for my height, XL is what I need. I just have reservations about this bike assembled this way, will likely keep looking.

They brought the price down to 300.

Good deal, or not? Opinions are welcome.
