Tire and Tube question
I need to buy new tires and tubes for my older Crossroads Specialized bike. I guess my question is do I have to replace the old with the exact same sizes? I ride around the neighborhood almost exclusively on asphalt.
Tire: 700 x 41C
Tube: 700 x 25/28-32C SV 35mm
The wheel has this written on it: 25/28-622
Honestly, I’m not exactly sure what all of these numbers and letter mean. I would appreciate some help please.

Your wheel size is 700c or, in ISO terms, it has a bead seat diameter of 622 mm (hence the wheel label of 622 and the 25/28 is the rim width) and is almost the universal size on road and hybrid bikes.
Your current tire is a 700x41 meaning it fits a 700c rim and is 41 mm wide when installed and inflated.
Your tube fits a 700c wheel and is made for tire sizes of 28 to 32 mm so it's a bit undersize for your current tire but they stretch so that's not a problem. The "SV" means a Schrader valve, which is like an automobile tire valve, and the valve length is 35 mm. Most better bike tubes use a "PV" or Presta valves which are slimmer and lighter but your rim is drilled for Schrader valves.
You do not have to match your current tire exactly although any replacement tire must be a 700c. You could use a narrower, lighter tire, say 32 or 35 mm wide, if you wish.
Hope this helps
