TDF chaotic camera work
Did ASO partner with a different group for TV video this year? From day one the video coverage has been erratic, pictures of the sides of helicopters, camera shots quickly scanning all over the place, video breaking up (stage 2 clear day) for no apparent reason.
This year the video coverage is all over the place.

They're also very lacking in putting the statistics up on the screen, such as the mileage/km point of the race, the lead by the leader(s)...

Thank NBC or whatever relayer is providing your coverage. ASO is providing over a dozen camera feeds I believe...and it sounds like someone at NBC is ham handed at the video switcher controls selecting the wrong active window.
No such issues on Eurosport here, that I've seen anyway.

I'm watching on Eurosport and haven't noticed any problems apart from the usual moto feed problems when passing through underpasses or sometimes in heavily wooded areas.

Banned.
Haven’t noticed any major issues
keep in mind in low weather conditions the helicopter may not be able to get some of the footage passed along to the network

Do the different providers mix their own from the individual cameras? Or is it one feed mixed by ASO? I always thought it was the latter. Perhaps it's changing with ubiquitous bandwidth, etc.
