Northern NJ space is at a premium. I live in NNJ as well, you can use mine anytime.

Not shown in photo:

1. Bench-mounted Park bike stand
2. 1978 BMW R80/7
3. 3 Road bikes.
4. 2008 Jeep JK with rear seat replaced by tonneau cover.

The garage is a great place to learn about / wrench on old steelies; an even better place to store the carbon bikes I ride each day.

I envy you guys with lots of space. I get the code-minimum two-car garage (I wanted to build something bigger, but I downsized my original plans after getting squeezed between the house, the setback requirements, my wife's rose garden, and a decent turnaround in the driveway) and son #1 's former bedroom. My sons and I have done three timing belt jobs (son #1's Audi A4 pictured) and numerous other bike and car repairs in that garage.

You guys are lucky, I get just enough space in the garage to squeeze the bikes in, we just moved (third time in a year and a half), and I need to get some space cleared out. Don't think I will get any space for the trainer set up this year.

One thing we don't have in Florida is a basement, which I would really love to have for the extra room. I also don't have a garage as the house would not fit in my pie shaped property with the extra width of an attached garage and you can't keep too many things in a carport. So, my bikes stay in the shed in the back yard and in the van and my man cave is the computer room. We have changed monitors since this photo was taken several years ago. The server (sitting on top of the desk) has changed as well, as has the printer.

Like Piratebike's bigger shed, above, it came with the house. I think it's from US Steel Buildings. It had a steel rollup door on the west end, was closed on the east and had a gravel floor. I hired a friend to build it out for me. Look up "metal buildings" on Google images. They will lead you to a lot of information. Also, videos of self assembly are on YouTube. Another supplier is Steelmaster. Lots of examples on their sites.

PM me is you want other details.

From here it looks like your friend did a nice job. I was considering that style but wondered how i'd finish it. Inspiring. Thanks.
