Cannondale F-700 rebuild

Hi All,
Anyone out there in love with their F-700. Maybe rebuilding or in need of a refresh?

Are you having any luck with the Coda brakes?

Barry

F700 brakes, shifters and cables.

So here's the deal. If you're rebuilding a mid 90's Cannondale MTB (F700) I have the brakes, shifters and cables available from mine.
IIRC these were removed from the bike within 10 miles of the bike being new. The items crispy new.
So the original Coda/shimano stuff is up for grabs.

Cost.... first one to post a picture of their project bike with a can (beans, soup, chilli, Soda, whatever) sitting on it.
NOT a picture of anything "sitting on the can". 8-)

Ready steady..... Go!

Barry

I reserve the right to toss the lot in the trash in 14 days if nobody posts.

Well that's super cool but I'm still cheating without an F-700. We'll negotiate? thanks!

The Killer V 500 I just bought has those CODA brake levers, but Alivio cantis. The right lever wasn't very smooth, so I loosened the pivot nut, & shot some WD-40 chain lube into it. After sitting overnight, it seems to have straightened it out pretty good. 👍

I would use them but I don't need them. I just wanted the challenge of balancing a can on my top tube, it was fussy!

Feel free to hold on to them for the right person, it's very kind.
thx
