What is this Trek worth?

Due to the pandemic decent bikes are as rare as toilet paper 3 months ago. I am looking fur a bike that I can ride 10 miles or so a week around the neighborhood. I am 6'2" and need a bigger bike

it is on eBay item 143654630700

Pre-pandemic, $175-200. Nowadays, hybrids are in extremely short supply with stores being sold out and backordered. Whatever this one will bring at auction. FYI, I sold a similar Trek hybrid yesterday for $250, and the new owners were thrilled to find one at all.

I had one of those in a 23" frame myself that I bought at a yardsale with hopes it would be a good bike for me. After a full going over it turned out to be too small so I listed it on CL, it sat for sale on CL for a year at $200 with no takers, I let the ad lapse for almost a year, I relisted it two months ago for $350, it sold for $325 that evening.
Mine was an early model, early to mid 90's I believe,it still had cantilever brakes, and I had added a pair of plastic fenders and an old tubular rack as well. The guy who bought it drove 130 miles to buy it. It was a clean bike, with a set of CST skinwall tires on it that came on the bike when I bought it.
It was a well built bike but it wasn't my favorite and I can't keep them all.

I would recomment starting a new thread on the C&V valuation forum saying you are looking for a bike. You'll need to list your location and the size bike you are looking for. The posters will help you track down some reasonable bikes. $135 is an OK shipping price but why pay that? You should be able to buy a bike locally for less than eBay.

It is already $260 with shipping and then it will need to be assembled, and probably tuned up so add another $50+/-

personally I’d never buy a bike off eBay, again, without knowing what it is and if it fits properly.

Thank you for all the information. This bike is local and the seller is ok with me picking it up so I do not have to pay for shipping. Bikes here have been hard to come by specially frames bigger than 22 inches. I currently own a Giant Sedona 19 inch frame which is a decent bike but would like something bigger.
