Older Aluminum Bikes, show yours
I was researching the durability of Aluminum framed bikes when I came across this thread here on BF.

Not wanting to wake an older thread up, I thought I'd start this one. So how about it? Show us your Aluminum framed Bikes, and tell us a little about your thoughts on older Bikes made from this material.
I'll start with my 93ish Mongoose road bike, drop handlebars replaced with flat, equipped with Shimano 105 components.
This Bike seems to be is holding up, and ride just fine.

Nishiki Altron frame 86'-87' ? Vitus forks , Alum . When I got the frame it had a repair , welded all the way around the chain stay . I have heard of the same on other Altrons .

Here's my aluminum Schwinn. I found it to be a nice ride the few times I took it out before my son commandeered it.

First time I noticed that some of the numbered Schwinns have the unicrown fork. It actually goes well with the rear wishbone

Here are two of mine. I'm sure I'll be dead before they are. 
Both were imported (and branded) by the Bontekoe shop in The Hague, which - incidentally - was the reason I found them.
Late seventies Alan Competizione. Took me a while to find one in my size, and it feels way better (stiffer) than I'd expected. Now that I know that I plan to rebuild it and take it on a long trip.
Stronglight Altec. With quite a few miles on it, according to the previous owner. Barely big enough for me to ride, but curiosity got the better of me. I haven't taken it beyond the proverbial spin around the block yet, but so far it looks and feels quite promising.

83 Alan Competition
I absolutely love the way the Alan rides it is truly my favorite of all my vintage bikes. Very comfortable for a lighter rider.

This is my 48cm Vitus in really nice condition. One of the few 979s that isn't "willowy or super compliant" at all. Not Cannondale stiff...but not for centuries either. I love the look and like all of the colors for that matter.

My Vitus is still going strong. I don't ride it every day but once a year at least. Very comfortable and quick. Still no sign of it falling apart...

With me? Yeah, there's another couple. A bit further behind in the queue, but there nonetheless, is this Kettler Alurad. Needs a lot of work before it's presentable. Close enough to my size to want to give it a go:
Then there's this Jan Janssen-branded Vitus 992. Too small for me, so it will probably get sold one day. Beautiful bike, though:
