xiaoman1 Yes all 700x25. The Giro, Gios and Tommasini will all get fresh tires. Those current on the bike will move to the Miele and Bottecchia.

Piasentin Super Vitus 971 frame from Lancey France
Not quite! The box contained a new-to-me Super Vitus 971 frame along with a Stonglight headset, TA bottom bracket and a J.P. Routens (JPR) seatpost. The frame is branded Piasentin, but the only real information about the company I could glean is that it's a bike store located in Lancey, close to Grenoble. I have no idea who made the frame, but it's of really good quality. It's also very light for steel and a bargain for $100.

Everything in the house for a wheelbuild tonight (or this week)!
I will be building a new wheel for the Gazelle tandem, converting it from the outdated Dutch/British standard of 650A or 26 x 1 3/8 (37-590mm) to the somewhat more common 650B (44-584mm) with wider tyres.
Ryde Andra 40 rims should offer plenty of strength and the 5-speed IGH drum brake hub should offer a bit more range than the old Sturmey Archer AB hub with its 3 speeds.

These days I don't take my truck much. Most of the things I do are within a few miles of home. Weather has been good. Why drive? So I want to ride different bikes without having to switch shoes upon arrival. Campy/clips too narrow for work boots. Harder to get my sneakers out of them than cycling shoes. Half-clips ok, but like a convertible with the windows up... So I keep looking. These look awesome, and fit my boots perfectly. Perhaps a tinkering machinist? Have a truck errand now, but later...

Shimano A600 pedals - scratched
I got what seem to be the last pair of Shimano A600 pedals directly from Shimano, but they were clearly used - scratched pretty significantly and one of them had some latex paint or something around the threads. It came right off. I got a good price, and can't really find them online anymore. I dunno, do I keep them, or return a pre-beaten up product that was supposed to be new?

Today was a good day!
I got a box from Bianchigirll with some pad holders for Modolo brakes, and a mystery box from South Korea. Two boxes of dental face masks from the country who got the corona virus under control by using them. My friend from Seoul is a good friend indeed. An interesting aside as I am sitting here in week 15 of house arrest due to the virus. Smiles, MH

Tektro R559 brakes for my 650b conversion trial. Not sure I like them over a decent setup of LS2.8 schwinn brakes but I'll try them.
Snagged a deal on some Bicycle Research tools for rim and tires. No reason really, just always had them at the shop WBW.
And finally the bike I've been waiting for for over 6 weeks. I can't wait to get it apart and cleaned up. The bike was cheap, the boxing and shipping, not so much.
