I'm having some serious deja vu here. Wasn't this exact bike, exact thread, exact everything posted on this forums a couple months ago? Searching through criteria I cannot find anything. In the Marketplace description of the bike the owner seems to know exactly what it is. Why not just buy it for $150 and ask the owner questions later?

It’s way too big for me. I was just curious since I’ve never heard of one before.

There was a movie called Zotz in 1964 or thereabouts? It starred Tom Poston, as recall--possibly his only starring role in a move. But I don't think there was any link to the bike we're talking about here.

The only reference to Zotz on Classic Rendezvous is this comment by a John T:
"I remember seeing a high quality tig welded frame called a Zotz at a The Bendix Wood Criterium (finished 3d as a junior, best finish ever!) in 1978 . The builder (Mr Zotz explained to me you could weld steel just fine with a gas atmosphere. I think Zotz were made in Fort Wayne. Of course, Indiana in the 1970s had a very hot racing scene. Zotz frame are still occasionally spotted around I am told though I have no idea how many he made."
