Upright handlebars

Do you know if handlebars on Specialized Sirrus, Cannondale Quick or Trek FX can be changed to something like this evanscycles.com/product_image/image/8b8/3b9/81d/62975/trek-allant-2012-hybrid-bike.jpg
?

And if yes, are there handlebars that EQUALLY upright by look just as cool as let's say specialized sirrus one: https://www.google.com/search?q=spec...2F%3B800%3B677

Yes,you can change the bars, but you may need to replace the cables with longer ones. You also need to match the bar's diameter to the stem clamp,or swap the stem to match.

Confused with what you mean by upright. Both examples were reasonably flat.
The one at evans was pretty well a mustache bar, and the other a flatbar. As dynaryder said, measure the current stem, and you can swap away accordingly.

Yes in fact I just did that with my Sirrus just a few days ago. I replaced my flat bars with a Soma Oxford bar and it's basically set up like an Allant. As another poster above mentioned you will probably need new cables - I did. The position with these bars are much more ergonomic for me and I like the upright position better with low close bars rather than flat bars in a higher position.

You can see my new setup here:

the bars of which you seek are 1" types, ao you need a stem that is the right height, angle and length

and grips the center of a 1" handlebar. assume you will replace all the cables and housing. ..

and as you are showing a Road bike with deop bars all the shift and brake levers are different..

rather than turn your road bike into a Hybrid, consider trading it in and buying one, configured just right.

Trading in is a pitty when you can follow the great old N+1 rule and have two bikes
