Hello Stef,

This has come up previously.

Unfortunately can no recall the answer.

Suspect Munny & non-fixie will know the answer.

Are you sure cycle manufactured in France and not in Belgium?

Logo has a very 30s/40s German vibe to it.

The previous owner thought it was a French mercier bike. But belgium could be an option.

A part of a lathe. It's a foldable bike project of mine and I had that lying around. It won't stay there but for now it's easy to get the bold lose.

thanks #mauricemoss ! Those aluminum look very nice. Mine are very heavy and the back one was badly damaged. I'll have a search on the web to see if I can find some more info on darnault. I'm kind of curious who build the frame now...

I'll check next time I'm in my other place. Any idea who might have build the bike?

No clue. Earlier than my usual interest. I typically don't do pre-1970s, and based on visual cues, that bike feels 40s/50s era to me at the latest.
