Hi From Tucson
My name is Bob and I live in Tucson, AZ, USA. I've been a bicycle commuter for a long while.
In the past I was stationed in Belgium while I was in the USAF. They had a great bike path system in that country so I started riding bikes heavily at that point in my life. Over the years I preferred riding bikes over almost all other modes of transportation.
I'm a former resident of Las Vegas, NV where I rode bikes quite a bit as well. I've since moved to Tucson, AZ so I'm acclimated to riding in the extreme heat of the the southwest USA to some degree. When my car eventually started having issues I made the decision to be a bike commuter. I've not looked back since. I find it a very enjoyable way to travel here in Tucson.
I hope to get a great deal of information from this forum as I'm always looking for hints & suggestions to make my bike commute more enjoyable.

Welcome to BF, Bob. I love Tucson, grew up there. I start thinking a lot about it right around this time of year in the PNW, haha, when I'm reaching my tolerance point for rain and dampness.
