Women's Beijing Olympic MTB
I probably will miss seeing part of the women's olympic mtb on tv, does anyone know if it will be online? Also, where can I view other women's mtb races online?

NBC seems to show quite a bit of taped footage on their website. My wife saw all 3+ hours of women's saber fencing coverage right on their site. I'd bet they've got a lot of good cycling stuff up.

I'm more interested in the BMX - - it's going to be the 20th and 21st. Especially want to see a showdown between Kitner and Anne Caro.

I can't wait to see Marie-Hélène Prémont win gold!
The race is Friday August 22nd at 3:00PM (Beijing time), so it's at 3:00AM Eastern time on Friday.

Surprisingly I just saw the women's MTB race on nbc!!! It aired friday morning on MSNBC, but I didn't even know if would be on the local channels! I was watching the olympics on NBC, then saw the news at 12am, then surprise! They are showing now the women first, and now the men's olympic mtb races! Premont did not medal The women had 6 laps, the men have 8, it is now on tv... It seems like there were a lot of steep up and downhills... I am so excited! Mainly because I didn't think I would be able to see it on tv! I know it is harder to film the race... They say it is very technical but from tv I saw mostly major uphill and downhill, I didn't see many drops but the one they showed for both men and women where there was a steep downhill with big rocks all the way down. But 16 miles will tire you out! I wanted to see some bridges or something but didn't see that, but then again there is no telling actually what the trail entailed, I can tell there is much that was not shown... I don't think it was all uphill and downhill and the one steep technical downhill. Either way I was so excited to see it!

just watched it on NBC. Very challenging although I would have loved to see a few more spread out and faster sections with a few drops.
