Dahon handlebar clip extension tool for backwards or Tern Andros stem or trigger
I use Tern Andros stems on my Dahon handlebars, oriented rearward, with ergonomic grips and trigger shifters that protrude further rearward. The triggers hit the fork when I try to fold the handlebar, and the clip/hook will not attach. I 3D printed an extension for the clip that is at the bottom of the frame that brings the clip 20mm rearward, 20mm outward, 1.5mm upwards, and with +/-3mm of adjustment in either X-Y direction, and an optional block for the hook to raise its height. The bottom clip extension needs M5x20mm screws, washers, and nuts. The upper block for the hook needs either M4 by 20mm or 25mm long screws depending on what thickness block you want to use. I attached 3D models if anyone wants to print some for themselves.
