Late Night Facebooking - Nishiki Competition

As evidence by this thread, I have stopped buying stuff.
Browsing Facebook Marketplace at 2a.m. and this popped up. It's not my fault because I wasn't specifically searching for bikes. I paid the $25 asking price this morning. I was tempted to offer more, but it was a porch pick-up and the house was a castle with a Porsche Cayenne in the driveway. It's too small so this one goes toward my daughters college fund. The only reason I'm posting is because I didn't know Nishiki outfitted some of their stuff this well. Suntour Cyclone and drilled Super Mighty crankset. The Araya rims are clean as a whistle too. Haven't done a lick of leg work on it yet. Will be researching tonight. Nice looking bike in the sunlight. The ad picture is all I got as today is a busy one.

This one appears to be circa 1978-1980. There were even better Nishiki models during this era, including a Superbe with Tange #1 and SunTour Superbe, a Professional/Ultimate with Tange #1 and Campagnolo (Nuovo) Record and a Maxima with Columbus SL and Campagnolo Super Record.
