Jeffersonville, VT Route Ideas
Four friends and I are heading to Vermont (from Ontario, Canada) for a four-day cycling holiday in about a month's time. We're hoping to find some good rides that are recommended by local riders as scenic, low traffic and fun! We'll be staying in Jeffersonville, so something close to there (or within a half-hour drive) would be ideal.
Also, we hope to sample as many of the local microbreweries as possible, so any recommendations on those would be appreciated as well; either as stops along the route, or for post-ride meals/drinks.
Route/beer suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Cambridge-Underhill Flats-Underhill Center-Cambridge is a nice 24 mile ride. 15 south, left on River Rd, then take Pleasant Valley Rd from Underhill Center. 15 had some traffic, but Pleasant Valley Rd has some nice views of Mt. Mansfield and a nice downhill run back to Cambridge. Stagecoach Rd and Randolph Rd between Stowe and Morrisville are nice. Stagecoach also has nice views of Mt. Mansfield. From Jeffersonville, Route 108 over Smugglers Notch to Stowe, Stagecoach Rd to Hyde Park and then back to Jeffersonville via Route 15 is a nice ride. It is difficult to go wrong in that area. Be aware that the climbs up the "notches" and "gaps" are challenging and steep. If you're interested, send me a private message with your email address and I can scan some cue sheets and maps from a bicycle club outing we had near Stowe some years back.
