anyone know a place in which I could find suggestions or even directions to build my own trailer?

TheGreenRanger, try a search. I remember reading something in either commuting or touring forums. One of the members built one out of lawn chair materials. You will find several ideas. Good luck!

Go to motherearthnews.com and search for "bicycle trailer". I built one and it works fine. Probably have about $10 invested.

I searched for "lawn chair" and trailers just trying to find something in those forums as well as all. I couldn't find anything about lawn chair trailers...however it sounds so awesome.

Easy as to build too ,, always better to recycle than spend money I reckon
