Yes???
Definite yes
Maybe.
Tbh I don't even know what I'm gonna use the rack for. I didn't realize how big it was gonna be when I was reading the dimensions on the Wald website.

I've been lurking for a while and did a lot of reading before pulling the trigger on anything. Took some advice (Thanks Scrod), and ended up picking this up today.
This was before I got it home.
After a little bit of tinkering.
Excuse the terrible quality photos.
I need a couple of more odds and ends... Locks, lights, helmet, and bar tape will be purchased tomorrow. a Makeshift emergency kit is currently being assembled.
Needs a new seat, bad.

Still kicking.
Better pic as well.

Yeah... They didn't make much sense to me either.
Currently running these Campagnolo pedals with cages but I feel like I don't have enough leverage over the pedal. I'm thinking about running some straps.
Also, getting both feet into the cages is more tedious than I anticipated. I'm looking for a trick or tip as to how to get my feet in there easier.

Cages can get squashed, making it harder to shove your foot in, but yours seem fine.
Other then that, practice. Everyone misses, no matter how long they've been riding cages, and everyone will be in a situation where they just cannot get into the cage no matter how many times they try. It happens, usually at the worst possible times.

See if you can get rid of the reflectors on the pedals, there is often a little hook on the pedal for you to catch with the sole of your shoe to help guide your foot into the cage as the pedal flips over, the reflector might be blocking it.

The pedals with the reflectors are what were on the bike when I purchased it. I swapped them out for some Campagnolo ones i got on the cheap(bottom photo).

So, it's been over a year since I posted updated pics of the Kilo WT. Since then I removed the lights and transferred them to the Motobecane Messenger, and today I removed the 21T fixed cog and freewheel, and installed a 19T Eno freewheel that I had been using on the Salsa Casseroll until I converted it into a 7-speed IGH. Since I no longer use this bike as a shopping mule with saddlebags, there is no need for the super low gearing. The weight dropped about 1 lb, and is now 25.2 lbs, which is about 1 lb heavier than the Windsor Clockwork SS townie.
Edit - Changed the front fender for a narrower one that doesn't interfere with the front brake. It also allows for a bit less toe overlap with the rear of the fender. The old fender was unnecessarily wide for the 700 x 32c front tire, but is fine in the rear with the 700 x 35c tire.

I find it ironic that the Soma Rush has a threaded fork, but is tig welded rather than lugged. I'm really wanting a Colossi Mondial.
