I bought some lovely personalised engraved bar ends for the Alpina carbon sprint bars that came with my new track bike as I didn’t like the look of the funny round bar ends they came with..... some of you will know where this is going..... and then realised when I tried to fit them that (obviously).... they don’t take bar ends!
What a donut. I sold them immediately.

Vision/FSA sent me their aero crankset, a BB, BB tool, and FSA Pro 51 and 53 chainrings. Very stoked to put this on the Fuji Track Elite frame that's arriving today ^_^ New bike day!

I just got a new trainer with resistance.
Unlike Cycleops roller, I don’t have get off the bike to adjust the resistance.
Perfect for leg speed training and power training
My friend, who is an elite track cyclist, recommended this product.
Can’t wait to try it!!!

52t FSA chainring and EAI Keirin Tool or Super Track Tool (depending on who you buy it from).
I've always wanted to give this tool a try. It's very well made. The only down side is that it doesn't work on 12t cogs. It will work in 13t - 16t, which is not coincidentially the size range in which Shimano NJS cogs come.
I guess I'll just have to keep the 12t on all the time then...

Just in time for the end of the Southern hemisphere season, I picked up a set second hand training wheels.
Duraace Hubs with H+ sons Formation rims, and threw some Veloflex Records on them.
Man I love those tires and hubs..
Seeing as most of my riding is out doors it means I can keep my tubulars for the indoor velo... (when it reopens)

I picked up a "47 CM" Chinese frame - the 7VRN, Comanche - frame for $200. It's much nicer and lighter than I expected. Looking forward to healing up so I can build it up (caught up in a crash with two other riders at VSC last Tuesday, and I broke five ribs....)
So that means I also just bought a huge medical bill....
