Your biking snacks and preride food!
I am curious what people are eating these days right before your ride and during. There was some new brand of "energy bars" on the desk of a local bike shop. It seems like some sort of nutrition company or fad comes along right after my injuries. Is there anything that is ritual for you? Is there anything that your food has to provide? (High in carbs, protein or fats?)

Baked sweet potato, cooled. It's breakfast at halfway.

Can of tuna in olive oil for breakfast. Fig cookies as needed along the ride. Big cheeseburger, preferably topped with a fried egg, and an unfiltered IPA upon ride completion.

Tailwind Nutrition is a great endurance supplement It is made in Durango, Colorado. I love it for long rides.
Did you know that a 12oz. long neck bottle fits inside the Blue Bladder in a Camelback Mule?

Pre I usually have a decent but light breakfast. During the ride I usually munch on an SIS bar, Clif gel shot, water in my Camelbak.

Two pieces of multi-grain bread with crunchy peanut butter and a glass of milk. Will stop for coffee at the midway point and eat whatever I am in the mood for when I am done.

I have yet to run out of all the on-board fuel my body loves to stock up on...
Just water for me.

for me a cliff bar is my go to on board energy bar
preride depends on when
morning will be oats and fruit typically a banana preferred
lunch evening is whatever i ate don't really tailor to my ride
complex carbs seem to be the most important after plenty of water
going out hungry is bad going out bloated is not as bad but bad going out perfect is good
