Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I like the longer lengths, and so the real camera KILLS it - the 56mm FOV on the 11 Pro was the selling point for that, as it would allow closer to my favored 70-100mm in my pocket. I took an EosM and the 22/2 to Rome, and it was JUST too big to easily fit in a pocket and so it required bag space or a swingy strap, and that plus the the Pro was it.

TG day call with rjones28, Sr. today. He continues to recover from his Spring health scare. I think he's riding more than I am.

He had to give up group riding (which is better because of the Covid anyway), but he's been doing a 20ish mile solo MUP ride three times a week. He's 79.

When we went to Rome 6 years ago, I took a 1DX, my wife’s Rebel, and about 6 lenses. Gave me a good workout since we walked everywhere for two weeks.

You know, I've finally reached the point where the camera is one of the biggest factors in a new phone purchase. The camera on the ol' Nokia 928 was pretty great, but all since then have been lackluster and I intend to not make that mistake whenever I buckle and buy a new phone (my phone has been getting on my nerves lately, and I've been considering a new one). If I needed a phone tomorrow, I'd probably get the Pixel 4a... because camera. But I'mma try to hold out a little longer.
