Hipsters?

so I've been around here a while andam rather well informed and learned about everything that is discussed but Im still unsure of what exactly denotes one as a hipster. Is it sorta the same thing as all the scenesters that i see at shows that claim to be into the music but really havent a clue outside of their good charlotte and simple plan? Clarification Please.

Gawd... bikes are so dumb. The only people who like bikes are other bikers, and they're dumb too. Seriously... only hardcore dorks know what a velodrome is much less pine for one closer to their home.

Ever see a fixie durring the half time show in a superbowl? I thought not. Case closed.

Don't forget:

"Definition of a Hipster
Hipster - One who possesses tastes, social attitudes, and opinions deemed cool by the cool. (Note: it is no longer recommended that one use the term "cool"; a Hipster would instead say "deck.") The Hipster walks among the masses in daily life but is not a part of them and shuns or reduces to kitsch anything held dear by the mainstream. A Hipster ideally possesses no more than 2% body fat."

I sure hope this thread is the last of its kind, becuase it is ****ing stupid as all ****ing hell. This is really too much. Please, if you are worried about being labeled a hipster, it is because:
1. You are one - go die
2. See number one

a person with a white belt finds food on a rabbit's head, and a person with a black belt loots food from a rabbit's head.

I guess I might be a hipster. I wear a white belt in my dark-blue jeans while riding my fixed gear conversion with the gold deep-v rims.
