Contador, doped or not?

Imo, it just seems a bit too easy for Contador to be credible. Of course, it's just an opinion not based on any facts, but I find it very hard to believe that he can climb that fast so effortlessly in comparison to others.

Please tell me that you raised this question when you saw Usain Bolt win the 100m.

There, I would agree with you.
Here, not so much.

That's what people were saying for years about Armstrong too.

Of course he's doped, and so are all his GC competitors. He just happens to have the best combination of talent, determination and drugs.

You find it hard to believe that a young 26 year old on top of his game can beat a 37 year old by 5 minutes over the course of 21 days of riding? Why?

Innocent until proven guilty...unless we don't like them apparently.

Who knows for sure, it is all speculation. All I can say it is a level playing field other than he has the best team and director in the business.

Innocent until proven guilty yes. But so are the other more than 100 Spanish riders who frequented Dr. Fuentes office. Remember which team he came from?

Probably, but the truth is that he seems to be the only one with essentially no facial expressions when climbing. I've seen this sort of face before in a previous tour. I don't remember the year nor the name of the rider, but it was a young rider that had a surname like "viper" or something, and he climbed with no facial expression at all yet was ahead of everyone. He happened to be doped. Maybe someone knows what his name was...

Anyways, Contador just look like that guy.

Well that proves it then. Members of the jury this AC fella looks like some doper from years back named Viper or some such,. You must find him guilty.

Usain Bolt is from Jamaica. He uses "natural, herbal" supplements. You can't say that is doping. He only uses a recreational joint for relaxing, post-race recovery. Bolt doesn't even do the white lines like Tom "Sniffer" Boonen. Lack of the white stuff caused him issues in TdF 2009.

By "viper" I think you mean Ricco the "Snake" who was dubbed the "Worm" after getting caught doping. his mountain hero was another doper who's name I don't recall.

when posed as a legitimate question i do think it is a fair one to ask. sports such as cycling and baseball deserve the question based on their past actions. its just the world of sport these days. later.

contador has been linked to and has publicly supported riders who have been caught. i find it hard to believe he isn't caught up in some of that himself. then again, so has practically every other rider on the tour. either way unless contador has some form of a super steroid or blood drug he'd still be winning at this point. doping drugs enhance, they don't create.

You are not alone, i thought the same thing while watching. It looked effortless.
But until a positive test comes out on him, he gets a thumbs up for an absolutley incredible performance in my book.

Contrador's new found ability to TT this year is a little suspicious, but he is clean in my book until tests show otherwise.

Why anyone thinks any rider is clean is beyond me. Testing is great but there will always be technology that is ahead of the doping controls.
