If given a group for free, I would take sram apex over ultegra. Fits my hands better. But i would take dura ace just so I could say I have dura ace.

89/90 Bianchi Giro with a Campy Athena/ Shimano 105 mix
and my 07 BMC Streetfire SSX with a little bit of everything! lol
I still prefer my Nishiki to either of these though, lol

im reaching back a ways but if i recall they were very similar wheels but the helium has higher spec rims and a much lighter rear freehub. visually they are very similar. the cosmos are reported to be more durable where the helium was lighter. i would be interested in either at the right price.

Preeetty. The saddle looks a little goofy, but maybe that's just me.
I didn't know that the Jamis Quests used to come in a chrome color. A lot of Jamis' newer bike models (e.g. Quest, Sputnik) look a lot worse (in terms of aesthetics, actual quality, or both) than their older ones...

Jaw dropped. Non machined rear brake though? with the sticker? Any problems with that yet?
But indeed it is gorgeous.

I thought it would look cool. lol I was in the process of removing the sticker from the front and the rear, but the rear doesn't want to come off and I've been too lazy to get it the rest of the way off. It's not on the brake track so it's not a big deal. It squeaks a little bit, but I have no doubt that it will slow me down just as well as a machined rear.

Ya they come off or zip ties break after it sits in the sun and they get brittle. It looks insane but I'm just lazy. Sorry to disappoint you. I should get some more so I don't snag it on anything.
