Ya, I got a pair of V2 straps I will be throwing on soon. I've done OK without them but I know they will be very helpful at times.

To my best of knowledge, took a bit of research, this is an early 1980's Peugeot i picked up off craigslist for $50. Stripped the whole bike, painted, polished, the works... and came out with this:

You seriously made that into one hell of a good looking conversion.
Some bar tape and a set of toe clips & straps would really finish the look

hey im joey this is my bike
its a work in progress
pretty much need everything but the frame/handlebars
early 80s giant-made schwinn world tourist
the cranks are stuck. i tried using the pickle fork/mallet technique and they didnt budge. theyre steel, they look sort of stripped, so idk about a crank puller, gonna see what my lbs can do.
im not going to repaint it, and its just gonna be a ss/coaster brake setup with 77.6 gi.
whats up from flint michigan!
also that orange orbit bike rules so hard.

Yes it is. Since i flipped it, it allowed me to scoot the seat up an extra inch, the massive lug-nut at the top is a hassle.
It's a massive bike even for me. I'm 6'5" and the bike has a 62cm seat tube (i'm sure you can tell just by how large that head tube is!).
But I will say that frame makes for a smooth ride
Still kicking.

1: Pickle fork technique
2: Flywheel puller
3: Cut the cranks off the bike.

Chances are, if you've got stuck stripped cranks on a bike of that age, you'll probably need to put in a new bottom bracket when you get them off anyway. If you don't care about saving the old crankset or bottom bracket you can saw through the spindle to get them off. I had to do that on my Raleigh when both arms were stripped and totally stuck. It's a PITA but if you're trying to save money on labor it's worth it.
