They're admitting their bikes are as fragile as light bulbs? Not the best marketing strategy.

So we have a new Tern bike coming with a brake light , suspension fork and a kickstand .
Could be a touring / trekking or commuter .

Tern GSD has a lot of success in Europe. Many bike resellers not selling any Tern before started to sell this bike.

There is also the Node a folding cargo.

But even folded, it remains a big bike and there is no electric assist version of the Node

Maybe a new improved version of those ? The bulb might also mean electric assist.

Well, it's not really a folding bike. Only the handle post folds. It seems similar to the old model but with additional features like the foot platform, wheel guard, rohloff, maybe a stiffer frame. Wouldn't it be more appropriate to call it an iteration? Although I guess bike companies tend to brand their models based on the frame.

Cargo bikes are a very different market from the typical folder though....

$4599 starting price...oy.

I admit it does induce both e and cargo bike envy.

Good point ; this thread should be moved to Electric Bikes or Utility Cycling .
