Clip-on TT with Aero bars?

Hello,

I am trying to add clip-on TT bars to my MOST Jaguar XA Aero bars. I have roughly 3/4 of an inch to each side of the stem before the begin to go flat.

Does anyone know the width of most clips so I can see if it will fit? I am considering the Profile Design - Subsonic Race 35a but want to be sure they would fit.

Any alternatives to getting basic TT bars on these handlebars other than replacing the handlebars?

Thanks!

You can get clip-ons with clamps for the shape of those handlebars. Here’s one...but it doesn’t seem to accommodate the brake/shift cables.

But if you still are sure that you want to clamp to the round section...the last set of clip-ons I purchased...maybe 3-4 years ago...they came with spacers to put in the clamp for various size bars.

Same problem

Hi OP, long shot but I have the same handlebar and same problem trying to fit some aero bars for triathlon training. Did you find some that fit? I don’t want to change my handlebars

Not the OP, but…I have a Deda clip-on aero bar that someone gave me years ago (same model as the one at the ebay link below.) It has just a single attachment to the handlebar, and its mount is narrow enough that you should be able to get it securely fastened to those bars right next to the stem. I used it once, and wasn’t completely satisfied with its sturdiness…so I really never used it again. But, I just looked at other Deda products and it looks like they have other models that have dual attachments that can be mounted right next to the stem, and then the width of the aero bars can be separately adjusted.
